Cool Docks opened yesterday the ‘Neither International Nor Forgettable’ exhibition by Hangzhou Academy artist group Double Fly.
Who is the real pioneer of fashion? Who’s wearing fashionable brands? What’s called a changeable? We change new clothes twice a day! How can you become a literary youth? Take a photo of yourself by Polaroid camera! Double Fly Art Center will make a literary – changeable – fashion show in September at Shift Station! Watch out for their next event and the following Double Fly artists: Cui Shaohan, Huang Liya, Li Fuchun, Li Ming, Li Ke, Sun Huiyuan, Wang Liang, Yang Junling, Zhang Lehua.

This Thursday will be the last performance at the Dutch Culture Centre theatre, presenting Boi Akih Featuring Sandip Bhattacharya – funky/indie rock/jazzy from Holland.
Dutch Culture Center is looking for musicians/percussionists to jam after the concert, everyone is welcomed, to bring their instruments.

No 2 on 4th September, with Weca Wang, who established the well-known jewelry brand Queen & Daddy. He will share his thoughts about Jewelry as an Art Form.

Shanghai University made an important move, inviting UK’s best known painting competition for contemporary art to China. The John Moores Contemporary Painting Price was launched this year for the first time in Shanghai. Chinese painters where invited to follow the call for entries in April 2010 from Liverpool. The John Moores (Shanghai) Contemporary Painting Prize will be held from now on every two years in China. The 2010 winner is Han Feng.

Contemporaneity – exhibition strongly links the 60th anniversary celebrations of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia.
The exhibition showcases contemporary art and culture in Indonesia and it’s development. Curated by Jim Supangkat and Biljana Ciric at MOCA Museum Shanghai. Indonesian Art on view till August 19th and 14th August will be an exhibition conference.
